Yogi Dinesh Chander Ji, the Director of Om Shanti Om Yoga School, begin yoga at a very young age with 15 years of learning and teaching yoga experience in Ashram. Yogi Dinesh was born at Ponti Sirkhon Almora, Himalaya Hill into Brahmans Orthodox family. When he was 12 years old, he obtained his education in Hinduism in Rishikesh Ashram (Parmath Niketan and Sivananda) and Varanasi. He studied all the Mantras, Vedas, Sanskrit, Bhagavath Gita and in deep the Hindu tradition, yogi life, and culture. He is the close disciple of his Guru, The Great Himalayan Yogi, Swami Yogananda Maharaj Ji and learned many types of Yoga from his beloved Guru. He has a Bachelor in Sanskrit and obtained the title of "Shastri" with Master in Sanskrit and Yoga and successfully obtained the title of “Yogacharya”. He is an experienced, loving, generous, friendly and humble natured person. He is well versed in Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Sivananda, Sukshma Vyayama and Laughter Yoga. He learned many types of yoga from his Guru. His future aspiration is to open his own ashram in the near future with a capacity of 50-100 students. Yogi Dinesh has been traveling to many countries such as Russia, Europe, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, and the USA to give yoga courses. He is a qualified experienced Yoga Teacher registered with Yoga Alliance USA withe-RYT200 and e-RYT500.
Guru Buddhi Prakash "Meditation & Philosophy"
Guru Buddhi Prakash Ji was born in the year 1953. He is an M.A. degree holder in Hindi Literature and Yoga Philosophy. He got the first experience of Samadhi at the age of 7 years. He had a clear vision of his past life in the Himalayas. He completed his higher education at Agra and Haridwar Universities. He got initiation in Shankaracharya Tradition through his Master Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and he spent many years with his guru and practiced the Transcendental Meditation. For deep practice, he went to a cave in the Uttarkashi Himalayas for a few years. He taught Yoga in many other countries and now he is a guest teacher at Om Shanti Om Yoga School. He has 40 years teaching experience in Yoga and many spiritual seekers come to him for a different level of practicing Meditation and Indian Philosophy. He has such an extensive knowledge of Indian Philosophy like Patanjali Yoga Sutra, Shiv Sutras, etc. He has been known to conduct various Yoga seminars in Rishikesh as well as other parts of India. In the year 2015, he is awarded by Yash Bharti Award by Chief Minister of UP Government.
Yogi Jitendra Kumar Ji was born and brought up in Maharishi Jamadagni Tapasthali in Himachal Pradesh. In young age, he was interested and educated in fine Arts and obtained Diploma in Fine Arts. Later he continued his study in a holy city situated at the foothills of Himalaya and obtained Master in Yoga. In his life journey, later he found Swami Vishwaroopananda and surrendered himself his teachings and perfected himself in yogic discipline at Sivananda Ashram Rishikesh which made him as a professional teacher of ancient Hatha Yoga, Shatkarma.
There he did a certificate course in Vedanta, Philosophy, Sanskrit and Yoga from Academy Sivananda Ashram Rishikesh, flowing instructions of his Guru, he conducted Yoga Teachers Trainings and various intensive course of Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Kriyas for foreign students in Om Shanti Om Yoga School today for Yoga TTC. He is living in a simple life in Bhagirathi Ashram in Laxman Jhula as one of a kind of true yogi.
Yogi Kamal Ji was born in a family with deep knowledge of Sanskrit and ancient texts, so study of Vedic and another ancient text was part of his yogic education since childhood. Further, you will learn about his achievements in Yoga study. He did 1-year training course in naturopathy at National Institute of Naturopathy (Department of Ayush Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India) in 2006. He obtained a bachelor degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) from Barkatullah University, Bhopal in the year 2007. He attained Master of Science in Yoga from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University in Haridwar in 2010. In 2002, Kamal participated in all-India Inter-university Yogasana Championship held at North Gujarat University, Patan. In 2008, he co-founded the International Free Yoga and Music Festival that lasted till 2014. He is a professional teacher of ancient hatha yoga, and shatkarma section. His compassion towards all living beings and non-fading cheerfulness combined with routine yoga practice make him one of a kind, true yogi.

Dr. Usha Vaishnava Having Studied disciplines in Ayurveda & Herbal Medicine, She had completed her 5 1/2 years recognized B.A.M.S. an internationally recognized degree in Ayurveda from famed 150 years old Ayurveda University in India. Then she specialized in Panchakarma Therapy at world recognized Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal (Kerala). For the last 14 years, she is engaged in Ayurveda Treatment, Teaching and Training students for Ayurvedic Massages and Dietary. She also has her own clinic in Tapovan for giving Ayurvedic Treatment, Massages, Panchakarma, Nutritional advice and other personal/private consultation. She is a special guest doctor for Om Shanti Om Yoga School.

The Yoga Teachers (yoga gurus) at our Ashram are having deep personal insight into the path of classical hatha yoga and are happy to further illuminate the intricacies of yogic theory and its application.
The teaching of Hatha yoga during our 200-hour teacher-training course involves the performance of certain asanas which are held for an extended period of time whilst practicing deep breathing techniques. The course also includes kriyas (cleansing practices), pranayama (breathwork), meditation, and philosophy. It is said that the best way to teach is from your own experience.

Most of the time spent on this course will cover these core areas:
Yoga philosophy (Darshana) - This essential ancient information is key for you to earn yogic strength. You will be taught the history and ethics of yoga, Indian culture, kundalini, and much more.
Dhyana (meditation) - by practicing meditation you will be attempting to reach a state of self-realization (Samadhi). This will aid in gaining tranquility of emotions, physical and mental being.
Pranayama - ancient breathing techniques, used in preparation for meditation. This is a vital aspect of yoga practice. It will improve the respiratory system and purify the body and mind. There will be an introduction to the topic followed by sitting postures, Mudras (yoga gestures that affect energy flow), and yoga bandhas, which is a way of improving lung capacity.
Mantra chanting - each of the chants will have a unique meaning and will use the sacred sound vibrations in a spiritual way creating a clear and focused mind.
Hatha, Vinyasa Yoga - an in-depth study of all of the asanas/poses within these styles and taught how to practice them in correct ways.
Ashtanga, Vinyasa Yoga - This Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series literally means yoga therapy. This when practiced regularly heals all sickness and purifies your body in preparation for deeper advance Yogic practice. Ashtanga means 8 limbs of the body and Vinyasa means breathing and movement system. For each movement, there is one breath. The purpose of vinyasa is for internal cleansing. Breathing and moving together while performing asanas makes the blood hot thus improving circulation.
Yin Yoga - Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga as exercise, incorporating principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time. The sequences of postures are meant to stimulate the channels of the subtle body increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, its goals are aware of the inner self.
Restorative Yoga - Restorative Yoga is the practice of particular asanas, in which each asana is held for longer than in conventional classes, often with the support of props such as folded blankets, bolster, cushion, and wall in order to relax the body and remove stress.
Sukshma Vyayama -Sukshma is a Sanskrit word meaning "subtle".The presence of Sukshma is felt, but not seen. Sukshma yoga is an excellent relaxation technique that promotes and activates our pranic body. It is a form of yoga comprising of subtle exercises that are simple to practice yet highly effective.
Laughter Yoga -Laughter yoga is a modern exercise involving prolonged voluntary laughter. This type of yoga is based on the belief that voluntary laughter provides similar physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter. It is usually done in groups, with eye contact and lots of playfulness between participants. Intentional laughter often turns into real and contagious laughter.
Physiology & Anatomy (Sarir Vijnan) - Learning and understanding the physical bodily functions will help prevent injury before, during, and after practice. The types of yoga anatomy are both physical and spiritual. This will include the study of digestive, respiratory, circulatory, nervous, and endocrine systems. Also organs and Chakras. The anatomy studies will teach how the body is affected by Asanas - skeletal, muscular, and joint movements.
Teaching practice and methodology - You will learn how to be able to carry out demonstrations, correct alignment, and instruct other students by performing in front of your peers and yoga teachers on the course. Being able to create peace and positivity will be key to ensuring your students have a transformative and enjoyable experience with you.
The timetable every day is full of the varied topics studied. Classes will start at 6.30 am daily and will continue throughout the day until dinner at 6.00 pm. There will be adequate breaks along the way giving you time to absorb all of the knowledge and information presented to you by your teachers.
